Flags and happy faces enhanced the room.

Residents, volunteers and staff all gathered in the South lounge for a wonderful Aussie barbecue lunch in celebration of Australia Day. 


The sausages and hamburgers were cooked to perfection and the barbecued dim sims were a hit!  Catering staff did us proud with yummy salads and it wouldn’t be a bbq without the sauce and beetroot!  It was all topped off with our favourite rainbow ice cream which was so popular there wasn’t any left! 


Executive staff were also on hand to mingle, chat and help out. On these occasions it is wonderful to feel the sense of ‘community’ as we assemble as one.  Thank you to our volunteers Kenny Garrett (head bbq chef), Glen Mitchelson and Lidia Brown who assisted staff to wait on tables, and of course to all the staff for helping out.
