SYMPTOMATIC SCREENINGS: Anyone displaying coronavirus symptoms can phone our SWH Warrnambool Respiratory Assessment Clinic (RAC) on 5563 1666 to make a screening appointment with one of our RAC nurses.
ASYMPTOMATIC SCREENINGS: No asymptomatic screening clinics are currently being provided.
SWH COVID-19 MENTAL HEALTH & WELLBEING SUPPORT LINE: Call 1800 965 144 between 1-5pm Monday-Friday to speak with one of our qualified SWH professional. This support line offers non-judgmental listening services to local people in our Corangamite, Moyne, Southern Grampians, Glenelg and Warrnambool communities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
AND FINALLY... a reminder to parents that not only are children prohibited from visiting patients, they're also prohibited from unnecessarily accompanying you to medical appointments (unless, of course, the appointment is for them). Any non-essential visitor is prohibited from entering our facilities for the safety of our patients, consumers, residents, clients and staff.
VISITOR HOURS DURING COVID-19: To ensure we keep our patients, residents, consumers and staff as safe as possible from the spread of COVID-19 the following currently applies:
Warrnambool Base Hospital > Visitor hours: 11am-1pm and 3-6pm. Visitor restrictions: A patient can receive two visits/day, one visitor at a time, for up to 1 hour at a time, in any of the following formats:
Paediatrics Unit (Warrnambool) > One parent or primary care person can accompany their child for an outpatient consultation or presentation to an emergency department. Two adults (comprising parents/primary care people) can be with their child during an inpatient admission. Only one parent or primary care person can stay with their child overnight.
Midwifery Unit (Warrnambool) > Partner or primary care person/patient.
Warrnambool Mental Health Services Acute Inpatient Unit > Visitor hours: 11am-1pm and 3-6pm. Visitor restrictions: The same restrictions as those at the Warrnambool Base Hospital (see above).
Camperdown Hospital > Visitor hours: 11am-1pm and 3-6pm. Visitor restrictions: The same restrictions as those at the Warrnambool Base Hospital (see above).
Merindah Lodge > Visitor hours: 2-4pm. Visitor restrictions: A resident can receive two visitors/day, one visitor at a time, for a maximum of one hour/visitor. Some restrictions apply. Visitors must be family members and must make an appointment by calling 5593 7366. Visitors will be screened as they enter Merindah Lodge. Visitors cannot be under 16 years of age.
