Dr Cameron McPhersonMBBS (Hons), BN, FACRRM, FARGP, FRACGP, DipRANZCOG
Dr Cameron McPherson joined South West Medical Centre in 2018 after completing a 12 month post in outback Northern Territory. Dr McPherson has a special interest in men's health, prevention of chronic diseases and paediatrics. He is also an accredited Supervisor of GP Registrars at South West Medical Centre and contributes to the teaching of Registrars, Interns and Medical Students at our Clinic.
Dr Dina Elhalawani
Dr Elhalawani holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (Honours) from Alexandria University in Egypt (2004) and an Advanced Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (2012). She has practiced medicine in Australia since 2006, having gained accreditation through the Australian Medical Council and fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), is an Australian citizen and speaks fluent English and Arabic. Dr Elhalawani has a particular interest in women's health, paediatrics and adolescent health.
Dr Jisun (Sunny) HongMBBS, FRACGP Diploma in Child Health, Clinical Occupational Medicine Cert
Dr Jisun (Sunny) Hong graduated from Monash University in 2013. She has previously worked at Camperdown Clinic and at South West Healthcare over past years. She has a special interest in general medicine and paediatrics. She has a Diploma in Child Health and a Certificate in Clinical Occupational Medicine. Sunny speaks fluent English and Korean.
Dr Juman Al AbadiMBBS
Dr Juman Al Abadi is an overseas trained Doctor from Iraq. Dr Al Abadi commenced with South West Medical Centre in February 2018 and has special interest in general health, women's health and children's health. Dr Al Abadi was previously working in Austin Health in Melbourne and has taken the opportunity for a sea change through the GP Training Program. Dr Al Abadi speaks fluent English and Arabic and welcomes new patients to the Clinic.
Dr Kinson Lao
Our GP Registrar, Dr Kinson Lao, graduated from Monash University in 2017. He has previously worked at Bendigo Health, Echuca Regional Health and Swan Hill District Health. His areas of interest include general health, mental health and paediatrics. Kinson speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Qualifications: BN, Accredited Nurse Immuniser, Cert Infection Control
